MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Montgomery man has reported the theft of a cell phone and a pair of shoes following an overnight visit from an acquaintance.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, Lorenzo Massey came into the station on Tuesday, June 17, to file a complaint regarding a theft that occurred at his residence on Friday, June 13.
Massey, who lives in Fayette County with his roommate, stated in a written report that a woman identified as Tonya Simson had stayed at their apartment overnight. Massey said the group had dinner together Thursday night, and Simson was supposed to make a call to a rehabilitation center the following day using the roommates’ government-issued phone.
However, after the roommate left for a doctor’s appointment, Massey alleges that Simson took the phone and a pair of dark blue and white Adidas shoes (size 7 or 8) without permission and left the residence.
