BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Little Caesars Love Kitchen will bring free, hot pizza to approximately 8,000 people across West Virginia through five community servings beginning October 26.
Supported by Little Caesars franchisee Vicki Dunn-Marshall, her Chief Marketing Officer Sabrina Donahue-Moore, and their crew members, the initiative will provide approximately 2,000 pizzas to local agencies serving neighbors in need.
Little Caesars is coordinating with Mountaineer Food Bank and Facing Hunger Food Bank to identify recipient agencies in each community and help get the meals to people who need them. Each serving will include approximately 400 pizzas, serving an estimated 1,600 people per day.
“Our franchisees are deeply connected to the communities they serve, and these five servings reflect their commitment to helping their neighbors,” said Christine Snyder, National Director of Little Caesars Love Kitchen. “We’re grateful to Sabrina, Vicki and their team, along with Mountaineer Food Bank and Facing Hunger Food Bank, for helping the Love Kitchen reach thousands of people across West Virginia to serve hot pizza and provide a little comfort.”
The servings are scheduled for:
- October 26:Â Buckhannon, West Virginia
- October 27:Â Charleston, West Virginia
- October 28:Â Huntington, West Virginia
- October 29:Â Welch, West Virginia
- November 5:Â Beckley, West Virginia
The initiative highlights the role Little Caesars franchisees play in supporting the Love Kitchen’s mission. By working with local organizations that understand their communities’ needs, franchisees help extend the program’s reach and bring meals to people facing hardship.
Since its founding in 1985, the Little Caesars Love Kitchen has served more than four million people, traveling throughout the 48 contiguous United States and four Canadian provinces. The mobile pizza kitchen supports people facing food and housing insecurity and responds to communities affected by natural disasters and other emergencies.
Little Caesars franchise owners, team members and colleagues help make these servings possible through contributions of food, labor and time. Their support has sustained the Love Kitchen for more than four decades, bringing communities together over hot pizza.
