Harris pleaded guilty in February to five charges as part of a plea agreement following an initial indictment that included over 50 counts.
His sentence includes 25 to 100 years for first-degree sexual assault, 5 to 25 years for first-degree sexual abuse, and 10 to 20 years for sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian.
He was also sentenced to a fixed term of 10 years for using a minor in filming sexually explicit conduct.
In addition, he received one year in jail for possession of child erotica, which will be served concurrently with the other charges.
According to the Barbour County Prosecutor’s Office, the felony sentences are to be served consecutively, meaning Harris will serve them one after another.
After completing his prison term, Harris will be placed under extended supervision as a registered sex offender for 50 years. He is also required to remain on the sex offender registry for life.
The original 2024 indictment against Harris included 18 counts of first-degree sexual abuse, 21 counts of sexual abuse by a custodian, three counts of first-degree sexual assault, five counts related to filming minors in sexually explicit acts, and four counts involving child erotica.
