WOOD COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Wood County man has been arrested on two felony charges related to the sexual abuse of a juvenile, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives L.R. Board and N.C. Forshey conducted the investigation that led to the arrest of Clayton A. Blackwell, 43, of Wood County.
Authorities say the charges stem from alleged abuse involving a juvenile victim.
Blackwell was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and is being held on a $200,000 bond as he awaits trial.
The investigation is ongoing.
