(LOOTPRESS) – More than 90,000 Jeep vehicles are being recalled due to a defect that could cause a sudden loss of drive power, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The recall affects 91,787 Jeep Grand Cherokee Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicles from model years 2022 through 2026. Officials say a software error within the hybrid control processor may result in power loss without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.
