GLEN DANIEL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Class AA Liberty Raiders earned their first victory of the season Friday night, defeating the Class A Greenbrier West Cavaliers 27-14 on their home field.
The Raiders capitalized on key drives to build momentum, while their defense held strong against a Cavaliers squad that came in looking for its second win of the season.

Liberty’s effort paid off as they pulled ahead and maintained control down the stretch.
With the win, Liberty improves to 1-2 on the year and will travel to take on James Monroe next Friday in another key matchup. Greenbrier West, now 1-2, will return home to face Pocahontas County.
