CLIFTON FORGE, VA (LOOTPRESS) – The Clifton Forge Police Department is investigating an incident involving alleged animal cruelty after a video posted to social media appeared to show a man striking a dog with a stick.
According to police, the video was posted on October 13, 2025. Officers conducted a well-being check on the dog involved, and the animal has since been located.

Authorities said the suspect has been identified, and charges are pending.
No additional information has been released at this time. Sgt. S. D. Urban is leading the investigation.
