PINEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Members of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police, and the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed two search warrants Tuesday, November 4, resulting in seven arrests for multiple felony drug offenses.
According to Sheriff Bradley G. Ellison, one search warrant was executed in the Oceana area of Wyoming County, where four people were arrested for several felony charges related to the delivery of drugs.
A second, separate search warrant was carried out in the Lynco area, leading to the arrest of three additional individuals for similar offenses.
Those arrested include:
- Jeremy Scott Justice — Delivery of Fentanyl (5 counts), Delivery of Methamphetamine (2 counts), and three counts of Drug Conspiracy.
- Christopher Michael Hatfield — Delivery of Fentanyl (3 counts) and Delivery of Methamphetamine (2 counts).
- Sheena Griffith — Delivery of Fentanyl and Drug Conspiracy.
- James Milford Hicks — Delivery of Fentanyl, Delivery of Methamphetamine, and Drug Conspiracy.
- Effie Mae Gibson — Delivery of Fentanyl (2 counts), Delivery of Methamphetamine (2 counts), and Drug Conspiracy (2 counts).
- Troy Calloway Morgan — Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Drug Conspiracy (2 counts), and a Bond Violation.
- Shannon Rae Lusk — Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, and Drug Conspiracy (2 counts).
All seven individuals were arraigned in the Magistrate Court of Wyoming County, where bonds were set between $200,000 and $300,000 in cash.
Authorities remind the public that all arrested individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
