BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — The Raleigh County Veterans & First Responders Museum, located at 201 South Eisenhower Drive, Beckley, WV, announces its official schedule of events and hours for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. Residents and visitors are invited to participate in honoring fallen heroes and exploring local history.
The holiday weekend itinerary includes:
- Saturday, May 23
- 9:00 AM – Flag Placement: Volunteers will gather at the American Legion Post 32 Veterans Cemetery located at 312 Bair Street in Beckley. Participants will place flags on all headstones to honor the interred service members. Complimentary refreshments will be provided for all volunteers.
- 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM – The museum at 201 South Eisenhower Drive; Beckley, WV will be open to the public for regular operational hours.
- Sunday, May 24
- Closed: The museum will be closed to the public.
- Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day)
- Open: The museum at 201 South Eisenhower Drive; Beckley, WV will be open to visitors from 10am to 5pm.
