BECKLEY, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department will be receiving new radios. The approval was made during Tuesday’s regular Raleigh County Commission meeting.
According to commission president Dave Tolliver, the department will be receiving five new Motorola APX Mobile Radios for the newest vehicles in the fleet.
The radios will cost $16,146.
An employee with the sheriff’s department explained that old radios will either be reused, repurposed or donated.
