BARBOUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing charges after police say a domestic altercation left another individual with multiple injuries, including cuts, bruises, and road rash.
According to the complaint, officers responded after receiving a report from G.C. regarding an incident involving Allen Kroft. When officers and Chief Miller arrived at Kroft’s residence, they observed bloody cuts on his face, blood on his shirt, and scrapes on his shoulder and right arm.
Kroft told officers he was attempting to retrieve his tools from a truck when Rebecca Kroft allegedly drove away while he was still hanging onto the vehicle’s door. Police say the victim was dragged up the street during the incident.
Officers documented what appeared to be road rash injuries and photographed both the injuries and blood reportedly left on the roadway.
Based on the investigation and evidence gathered at the scene, the defendant was charged with one count of malicious or unlawful assault.
