GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A planned power outage is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20, as Mon Power upgrades electrical equipment serving parts of Greenbrier and Pocahontas counties.
According to Greenbrier County Homeland Security & Emergency Management, the outage will affect Mon Power customers in the vicinity of Lewisburg, Anthony, Frankford, Renick, Trout, Droop, Hillsboro, Mill Point, Watoga and Buckeye.
The planned service interruption is expected to last from approximately 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
If inclement weather occurs, the outage will be rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Officials emphasized that the planned outage will not impact the State Fair of West Virginia.
