For the fourth year in a row, phenomenal YouTube creator, Jacksepticeye will be hosting his Thankmas fundraiser. He will once again be partnering with Tiltify and Real Good Touring with the hopes of raising money for World Central Kitchen. World Central Kitchen was founded by Chef José Andrés in order to provide fresh meals in response to crises around the world. Sean “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin is bringing back celebrity friends, guests, and fans in the hopes of raising $10 million to devote to providing food and comfort to the people affected globally by earthquakes, floods, and other disasters.
“The mission of World Central Kitchen resonated with me and aligns with the goals of Thankmas; giving back on a global scale,” said Sean McLoughlin. “Tiltify’s built-in milestone and engagement tools have helped us reach more communities and break records for Thankmas three years in a row. I’m excited to be partnering with them again this year to hopefully raise the most money to date for an organization that is doing so much for those impacted by these devastating disasters.”
During last year’s Thankmas, Sean was able to raise an astounding $7.7 million in a single day event for New Story to help their mission to end global homelessness. This year individuals will be able to support Thankmas all throughout the month of December on Tiltify. Tiltify is a fundraising platform that utilizes the power of social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch in order to harness creators’ popularity for the common good.
Jacksepticeye will jump into Thankmas with his own live-streaming event on December 10th. If the event follows the pattern of Thankmas past, there will certainly be some shenanigans and plenty of incentives to participate in the event, including celebrity appearances, merch, and other surprises. Jacksepticeye may have built his career on providing fans with wild gameplay, commentary, and whacky humor but he also has a huge heart. He is one of the most prolific digital content creators of all time with a following of 27 million, monthly views of 150 million, and lifetime views of 13 billion but he leverages his fame and popularity to give something back to the world and, hopefully, leave it a better place than he found it.
