JANE LEW, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The organizers of the Lewis County Fair have announced the cancellation of this year’s event.
Contrary to recent developments, the forthcoming fair and expo slated to occur by the end of August at Jackson’s Mill is unrelated to the Lewis County Fair, officials with the fair said in a Facebook post.
Officials have emphasized that it does not serve as a substitute for the county fair and holds no affiliation with it.
They say that the Lewis County Fair is not disbanding. Instead, it is taking a pause as organizers search for a new venue that aligns with their vision and purpose.
Supporters and fair enthusiasts are encouraged to remain engaged. Plans for fundraising events throughout the upcoming year are in the works.
