OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Oak Hill Parks & Recreation Department has announced two clean-up days for Needleseye Park.
Members of the community are encouraged to join the City of Oak Hill for Needleseye trail maintenance and park clean-up.
Two official clean-up dates have been announced with the first being held on Sunday, March 3, from 1 PM to 4 PM.
The second clean-up will be held on Sunday, March 10, from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Volunteers will meet at Needleseye Trailhead, the events will be held rain or shine.
Volunteers will help remove century-old debris from the interior of the park to make it a safe and proud addition to the community.
Volunteers are asked to come dressed appropriately and be ready to get dirty.
Those interested must be willing to hike. All are welcome, including rock climbers, mountain bikers, hikers, and disc golfers.
Work gloves and safety glasses will be provided.
