BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Academy Sports + Outdoors, a prominent retailer specializing in sporting goods and outdoor recreation, is set to open its first store in Beckley in September 2024.
The new location, situated in the Beckley Plaza Shopping Center at 301 Beckley Plaza, will span nearly 70,000 square feet and offer a wide range of sports and outdoor merchandise.
This will be Academy’s second store in West Virginia, joining the existing location in Barboursville.
Beckley residents can look forward to a variety of products from top brands such as Nike, adidas, Carhartt, Stanley, and L.L.Bean, as well as Academy’s own private label brands, including Magellan Outdoors and BCG.
The store aims to provide customers with quality service, value, and a unique shopping experience, all while offering products that cater to various budgets.
