FAIRLEA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Greenbrier East Spartans suffered their first setback of the year Friday night, falling 36-26 at home to Alleghany (Va.).
The Spartans battled to stay within reach, but Alleghany’s offense proved too much down the stretch, sealing the road victory and ending Greenbrier East’s perfect start.

With the loss, Greenbrier East drops to 2-1 on the season.
