WAYNE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – America’s first year-round indoor/outdoor snow park is set to open in West Virginia.
Heritage Farm has announced plans to build a groundbreaking year-round indoor/outdoor snow park in Wayne County.
The project, revealed in a TikTok post, is set to be the first of its kind in the United States.
The new facility will include both an indoor snow park and an outdoor ski and tubing hill.
The indoor park will feature a variety of winter activities, including snow play areas, ice skating, ice slides, snow tubing, snowboarding, and skiing.
Impressively, the facility will be able to produce real snow even in temperatures as high as 70 degrees, utilizing solar panels and recycled water from melted snow.
The outdoor section of the park will offer year-round skiing and tubing on slopes maintained by snowmaking machines and advanced synthetic technology.
Additional trails are expected to be open from late October through early April.
