MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An inmate is facing new charges after he is accused of sexually abusing three victims.
According to State Police, three victims have come forward with sexual abuse allegations against Willie Newcomb. All three victims say the incidents happened several years ago when they were younger, with one victim as young as seven when the alleged incidents happened. Â Newcomb sexually abused and assaulted all three victims, telling them not to tell anyone. All victims say they tried to fight Newcomb when they got older, and Newcomb believed they were all too scared to say anything about it to anyone.
When police interviewed Newcomb in jail on unrelated charges, he denied all sexual assault and sexual abuse complaints.
Newcomb is now charged with three counts of sexual abuse and three counts of sexual assault. He is being held on a 300,000 dollar bond for those charges.
