BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges after he set a chair and hoodie on fire, destroying a home in Boone County, after an argument with his girlfriend.
On May 15, 2024, an officer responded to 9 Cooper Street in Danville, Boone County, to investigate a house fire that occurred on May 11, 2024, at 9:48 PM.
Upon arrival, deputies were informed that David Glen Dingess was captured on video leaving the property while it was ablaze. The officer conducted an interview with David Glen Dingess, during which he stated that he had an argument with his girlfriend, became angry, and set a chair and a hoodie on fire, ultimately leading to the destruction of the house.
Dingess is charged with burglary and first-degree arson.
