BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman claims her “baby daddy” threw a baby stroller at her, kicked her in the stomach, and broke her tooth.
On August 5, 2024, while patrolling the city of Bluefield, WV, located in Mercer County, Patrolman T.M. Beggs responded to a domestic disturbance reported at the Hot Stop on Bland Street.
Upon arrival, police spoke with a female victim who explained that she had an argument with her “baby daddy” a few days prior but did not call 911 at that time. She alleged that he threw a baby stroller at her and kicked her in the stomach.
During the conversation, police noticed that both of the victim’s eyes were swollen, and she had bruises on her arms. She also mentioned that her partner, Mr. Shaddiy Whittaker, had broken her tooth a few days earlier. The victim had fled her home to the Hot Stop to call 911 regarding the domestic incident that occurred.
Police proceeded to Lewis Street to arrest Mr. Whittaker for domestic battery. When police arrived, Mr. Whittaker answered the door while holding their son and handed the child over. He was arrested and transported to the Bluefield City Police Department, where he was booked following protocol and placed in the male holding cell, awaiting arraignment.
