BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Beckley City Council will assemble on Tuesday evening for its first meeting of the month, at which a resolution approving the City Manager contract for incoming City Manager, Michael Resare will be presented.
Scheduled to begin at 6:30pm on Tuesday, the meeting will also revisit the issue of the Pinecrest Industrial Park following weeks of discussion leading up to the conveyance of the property to the Raleigh County Commission last month.
Included as part of the recently announced agenda for Tuesday’s Common Council meeting will be an agenda item entailing the first reading of an ordinance to authorize the City of Beckley to enter into an agreement with the Raleigh County Commission regarding the property. The agreement itself, according to the agenda, is titled: Agreement for Transfer of Real Property Interests.
Notably, the meeting agenda also indicates the possibility of an Executive Session meeting to be held on Tuesday with regard to an unspecified personnel issue.
