BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Beckley’s Common Council will meet on Tuesday afternoon for a session during which council members are expected to go into Executive Session to discuss terms of the City Manager role.
Tuesday’s session, set to begin at 6:30pm, will also see discussion of the proposed Pinecrest Sewer Easement, the proposed conveying of land at the Pinecrest Industrial Park to the Raleigh County Commission, and more.
It has also been announced that the city parking commission is expected to convene following proceedings on Tuesday.

“Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the Ordinance titled “Ordinance Authorizing the City of Beckley to Convey 131.47 Acres of Real Estate, more or less, known as the Pinecrest Business and Technology Park, to the Raleigh County Commission” shall be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 6:30 pm in City Council Chambers at Beckley City Hall, 409 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, West Virginia. City Council will vote on the adoption of the Ordinance following the Public Hearing.
The public is invited to attend the public hearing and comment on the proposed Ordinance.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for inspection at City Hall, 409 S. Kanawha Street, Beckley, West Virginia, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.“
