BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – International String Trio will be performing next week as part of the second concert of the 2024-2025 Beckley Concert Association season.
The trio of musicians features Russian-born guitarist Slava Tolstoy, bassist Dr. James Heazlewood-Dale of Sydney, and violinist/singer Rob Flax known for his work with Trans Siberian Orchestra. The award-winning trio of performers collectively boast experience studying at St. Petersburg Jazz Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, and touring and performing with the likes of B.B. King, Jacob Collier and other high-profile music performers.
“These musicians are bringing to Beckley world-class musicianship,” Beckley Concert Association President, Allison Shriver said. “They’re not just playing the kind of classical music you might expect to hear from strings, they’re taking us on a tour of the globe.”
The performance is scheduled to take place at 7:30pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Woodrow Wilson High School Auditorium located at 400 Stanaford Road in Beckley.
Tickets for the concert performance event will cost $20 per individual attendee and are included as part of the Beckley Concert Association season membership pass, which is available for $50 for adults and $45 for seniors.
The 2024-2025 Beckley Concert Association season will include four additional shows once the International String Trio performance concert concludes. These upcoming shows include a performance from Twin Kennedy on December 5, 2024, Al G and Friends Band on February 14, 2024, and February 15, 2024, Stevie Wonder Tribute: Natural Wonder on March 14, 2024, and Dimitri Nassar Quartet on April 10, 2024.
Children ages 18 and under wishing to attend will qualify for free admission to Beckley Concert Association performances when accompanied by a paying adult attendee. College students who can show student ID also qualify for free admission to concert performances hosted by BCA.
