BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is in jail after allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
Jerry Maxwell Chambers, 22, of Beckley, allegedly sexually assaulted a child during the year 2023, according to Raleigh County Deputies. The child was left with family members while the mother went to work. Chambers is accused of touching the child inappropriately.
One witness was interviewed and said he saw Chambers in the bed with the child.
Chambers is charged with first-degree sexual assault and incest. He is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 100,000 dollar bond.
