MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man is behind bars after troopers say he was Snapchatting a 9-year-old female, sending her nude photos and videos, with the intent of seducing her.
According to West Virginia State Troopers, on Monday, April 13, 2026, police received a solicitation-of-a-minor complaint. During the investigation, police found about 29 photos and videos of him on the child’s phone, all via Snapchat.
The suspect, Bryan Seth Taylor, of Beckley, referred to himself as “daddy” and referred to the 9-year-old as “wife” and “sexy”. Photos of another child, even younger, were sent, and Taylor said, “Both were sexy”.
The investigating officer further observed that a sex offense report was taken back in 2025, which revealed Taylor had sexual conversations with eight different underage girls.
Taylor was arrested and charged with Employment or Use of a Minor to Produce Obscene Matter or Assist in Doing Sexually Explicit Conduct, Use of Obscene Matter with the intent to seduce, Distribute/Display Obscene Matter to a Minor, and Distribution of Child Porn with Minors in sex. He is in Southern Regional Jail under a 500,000, cash-only bond.
