RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – During the afternoon of Tuesday, February 20, 2024, the Beckley Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force served a search warrant at a residence on 1st Avenue in Beckley.
As a result of this investigation and search warrant, 62 grams of suspected Fentanyl, $3,400.00 in cash, and three firearms were seized. Joseph Daquan Scott, 25, of Beckley, was arrested and has been charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl). More charges are pending.
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team assisted in serving this search warrant.
The Beckley Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force comprises members from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police, Beckley Police Department, FBI, and ATF.
