BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges after his girlfriend allegedly found porn on his phone; he then threatened to bash her head in with a wooden chair and stab her in front of her children.
According to Troopers, a female victim said her boyfriend, Elijah Humphrey, was physically abusing her and requested a neighbor call 911. When police arrived, the victim said she confronted her boyfriend over the presence of pornography on his phone, which instigated an argument.
The victim alleged that Humphrey attempted to strike her, grazing her face, threatened to bash her head in with a wooden chair, and threatened to stab her in front of her children.
Humphrey denied any allegations aside from the occurrence of a verbal argument. Humphrey was charged with domestic assault and domestic battery. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail. He is also being held on a capias charge out of Cabell County.
