BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man is facing several hundred counts of sexual abuse and assault charges.
West Virginia State Police tell Lootpress that on Monday, September 5, 2022, they received a child sexual abuse complaint. Â Troopers say Joshua Don Kincaid had been allegedly sexually abusing a young child when she was six-yers-old and continued for four years. Â It was later determined that the child was sexually assaulted and abused approximately 150 times.
The sexual abuse happened in Beckley. Â When Joshua Kincaid was asked why he did it, he stated: “why did she [the child] ask me?”
Kincaid is charged with 125 counts of first-degree sexual assault, 150 counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian, and 25 counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Kincaid is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a one million dollar bond.
