BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man is accused of sexual abuse.
According to Beckley Police, on December 14, 2021, an 8-year-old said a family friend had sexually abused her. Â The child’s father said he worked with Corey Hicks and allowed him to stay with the family for a few weeks while getting the money together for his apartment. Â During an interview, the child said that Hicks and her would watch Tik Tok videos, and he would touch her.
Hicks is charged with sexual abuse by parent, guardian, or custodian and first-degree sexual abuse. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail.
