BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Beckley Water Company has repaired a major 24-inch waterline break on Skyline Drive that affected the Raleigh County Public Service District (RCPSD) Airport System, 4-H Lake Road, and multiple side streets.
Some areas also experienced low water pressure as a result of the break.
Officials announced that water service is expected to be fully restored within 4-6 hours for directly impacted customers.
However, residents in higher elevations may continue to experience low pressure or brief outages as the system stabilizes.
Boil water notices will be issued separately for affected areas.
Beckley Water Company thanked WV Pipeline and Kanawha Stone for their assistance in repairing the break.
Customers are encouraged to visit the company’s website or Facebook page for updates.
