LINDSIDE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Bluefield Beavers pulled out a hard-fought win Friday night, defeating the James Monroe Mavericks 35-27 in a battle that went down to the wire.
Both teams traded scores throughout the contest, but the Beavers made key plays late to secure the victory and hand the Mavericks their first loss of the season.
