BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Tyler Trey French, age 28, of Bluefield, West Virginia, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for Robbery and 1-5 years in prison for Conspiracy.
Bluefield Police arrested French in October 2023. According to Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney Brian K. Cochran, French was indicted by the June 2024 Mercer County Grand Jury and pled guilty on September 24, 2024.
​Cochran said Judge William Sadler handed down the prison sentence on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Cochran praised the Bluefield Police Department for its thorough investigation into French’s crimes and thanked the victim for her courage and cooperation throughout the prosecution process.
