BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Bluefield City Municipal Court has issued bench warrants for the arrest of numerous individuals.
The Bluefield Police Department is encouraging those named to resolve their warrants promptly.
Individuals with warrants have two primary options:
- Turn Yourself In: Report to the Bluefield Police Department, where you will be processed, given a bond amount, and released upon making bond. A court date will then be assigned.
- Pay the Fine: For show-cause warrants, paying the fine at the police department will result in the warrant being dismissed.
For those who do not take these steps, the Bluefield Police Department has stated they will actively locate and arrest individuals, holding them in the city jail until they see a judge or post bond.
The warrants, which stem from convictions in City Municipal Court, involve serious offenses such as DUI, assault, drug possession, destruction of property, and obstructing an officer, among others.
