BEAVER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Bluefield State University has announced its upcoming Fall Festival Health Fair event, along with an Open House event geared at Beckley students.
The event will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Erma Byrd Center in Beaver, WV, and will be sponsored by Bluefield State University Beckley Nursing Program.
The Fall Festival Health Fair will be held from 11:00am to 3:00pm, while the Open House event will occur from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Admission to both events will be free of charge, and an array of exciting features will be accessible including vision & hearing screenings by Sam’s Club, flu shots by Raleigh County Health Department (bring insurance cards along), free pulse oximetry reading by BSU, free blood glucose check by WV School of Osteopathic Medicine, free blood pressure check by New River CTC LPN students, free hand massage by BSU Nursing Students, and mental health wellness by BSU Nursing among others.
An Air Evac Helicopter Visit is scheduled to take place along with Presentations by BSU Radiology Technology & Sonography and multiple Resource Booths Including:
