BERKELEY COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department has announced that a body was found last Thursday.
According to a press release, on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at approximately 8 AM, units from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2200 block of Winchester Avenue for a report of a deceased person.
The decedent was a white male, approximately 5′ 9″, weighing approximately 150 Ibs. The male was clean-shaven with reddish brown hair, with multiple tattoos including “Angel” on his right forearm, a heart on his left wrist, and a nautical star tattoo on his right calf.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department says that they have successfully identified the man and are awaiting the successful notification of next of kin.
The circumstances of the death are still under investigation and the department is currently awaiting more information from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
No other information has been released at this time.
