RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A body was found behind a house on the creekbank in Raleigh County.
According to officials, a dead body was found behind a home located on W Cherokee St on the creekbank. A witness said he could smell an odor for a couple of weeks but thought it was an animal.
When State Police arrived, they confirmed that a body was lying face down. The body had been deceased for some time.
West Virginia State Police are investigating. Lootpress has contacted the State Police for further details but has not heard back.
