MADISON, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A scheduled forensic interview at the Cornerstone Child Advocacy Center in Madison has led to disturbing allegations of child abuse and domestic violence involving a Boone County mother and father.
Around 10:09 a.m. on Friday, three juvenile children were interviewed at the center, located at 331 State Street, Suite 300, as part of an investigation into domestic violence between their parents. The children were identified as witnesses to ongoing violence between their mother, Sandra Trent, and father, Billy Trent, who is now the subject of the investigation.
During the forensic interviews, one child reported that Billy Trent became angry when she didn’t listen to him. He allegedly grabbed her hand and squeezed it so tightly that she screamed in pain. Another child revealed that Billy Trent regularly hit her with a belt, describing the beatings as feeling like “he’s whipping a dog.”

It was further disclosed that the mother, Sandra Trent, would show pictures of a man putting his private parts in a woman’s mouth. Allegedly, Sandra Trent showed the children “lots of pictures of that.”
Both Sandra and Billy Trent are in jail.
