Richwood – Chase McClung scored 19 points, canning four 3-pointers as Greenbrier West beat Richwood 73-55 Tuesday night in Richwood.
Brayden McClung added 18 in the win and Michale Kanode (15) and Elijah Perkins (11) also scored in double figures for the Cavs.
Brayden Spencer paced Richwood with 30 points while Cooper Donahue tossed in 20 in the loss.
West improves to 2-0 and will host Meadow Bridge on Friday.

Summersville – A slow start doomed Nicholas County as it fell 55-52 to Braxton County in Summersville on Tuesday.
The Grizzlies managed just six points in the opening quarter but managed to tie the game at the intermission. Colby Pishner led the way for the Grizzlies with 14 points while DJ Coomes scored 23 for Braxton County.
Nicholas County drops to 0-2 and will travel to Westside on Friday.

Mercer Christina raced out to a 27-4 lead after a quarter and never looked back.
Boothe scored 22 while Patton added 18. Tanner Keathley scored eight points but hauled in 11 rebounds for MCA in the win.
Mercer Christian improves to 7-2 and will host Morgantown Christian on Saturday.
