Shady Spring 83, Westside 40
Clear Fork – Defending Class AAA state champion Shady Spring knocked down 10 shots from behind the arc and rolled past Westside 83-40 Wednesday night after leading 40-12 at the break.
Ammar Maxwell drilled four 3-pointers and led the Tigers with 20 points. Cameron Manns scored 15, while Cole Chapman added 13 points. Jaedan Holstein scored 11 points and Braden Chapman had nine, all from deep.
Ashton Reed led the Renegades with nine points and Bryson Blankenship scored eight.
Shady Spring travels to PikeView Friday.

Summersville – Nicholas County ran out to a 21-3 lead after the first quarter en route to a 80-65 upset win over Class AAA No. 7 Herbert Hoover Wednesday night.
Colby Pishner poured in 39 points to lead the way for the Grizzlies. Pishner was 25-30 from the free-throw line, including 20-of-22 in the final eight minutes to secure the third straight win for Nicholas County.
Austin Altizer and Bryson Phipps scored seven points apiece, while Travis Simms and Ethan Collins had six points each for the Grizzlies.
Dane Hatfield led the Huskies (10-6) with 21 points and Eli Robertson scored 18. Devin Hatfield scored 12 points.
Nicholas County (4-9) travels to Midland Trail Friday.

Fairlea – South Charleston avenged an earlier loss to Greenbrier East with a thrilling 55-53 win over the Spartans Wednesday night in Fairlea.
Mondrell Dean led the way for the Black Eagles with 19 points while Bryson Smith added 13. Adam Seams led the Spartans with 12 points while Aaron Griffith pitched in 11. Gabe Patton added 10 in the loss.
East falls to 7-8 and will travel to Beckley on Saturday.
