Morgantown 66, Wheeling Park 47
Charleston – Trailing briefly in the third quarter, Class AAAA No. 2 seed Morgantown closed out Wheeling Park 66-47, outscoring the Patriots 23-9 over the final eight minutes.
Sharron Young led the Mohigans with 17 points and eight assists. Jacob King scored 14 and Brady Savage added 12.
Mykel Davis led all scorers with 22 for Park and Amare Johnson scored 16 points.
Morgantown advances to the AAAA semifinals where it will meet No. 3 seed Huntington at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
