Charleston – Class A No. 2 Greater Beckley Christian knocked off Class AAAA No. 2 George Washington 88-82 in overtime Thursday.
Kendrick Wilson led the Crusaders with a game-high 36 points including seven 3-pointers. Kaden Smallwood added 17, while John Rose scored 14 and Sherlock Padmore had 10.
Ben Nicol led the Patriots with 33 points. Brendan Hoffman scored 24 and Taren Fitzpatrick had 12.
Greater Beckley will host the MLK Invitational Monday.
