Shady Spring 76, Huntington 45
Charleston – Defending Class AAA state champion Shady Spring outscored Class AAAA Huntington in every quarter en route to a dominating 76-45 win Friday in the FCA Hoops Classic at West Virginia State University.
Jaedan Holstein led the Tigers with a double-double pouring in 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Eight of the rebounds were on the offensive glass.
Cole Chapman scored 17 points, Braden Chapman added 16 and freshman Jack Williams had nine for the Tigers (3-0).
Shady Spring out-rebounded Huntington 51-27 in the win.
Michael Johnson led the Highlanders with 19 points.
Top-ranked Shady Spring will battle AAA No. 2 Logan Saturday at 5 p.m. in the famed Willie Akers Arena.

Greenbrier West 79, Meadow Bridge 37
Charmco -The home-standing Cavaliers raced out to an 18-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back, defeating cross-county rival Meadow Bridge, 79-37 Friday.
Greenbrier West had four players score in double figures led by Michael Kanode with 19 points and Chase McClung with 15 points. Elijah Perkins added 14 and Ty Nickell dropped in 13 points.
The Cavaliers knocked down nine 3’s in the win.
Jaden Gladwell led the Wildcats with 16 points and Dustin Adkins had eight.
Greenbrier West (3-0) travels to Independence Thursday. Meadow Bridge (1-2) hosts Richwood Tuesday.

Nas’Jaih led three Redskins in double figures with 15 points, while Dillon Tingler added 13 and Brayden Whittington scored 10.
Jacob Perdue led the Red Devils with 13 points and Ethan Vargo-Thomas had 10. Samuel Crist and Cade Maynor scored nine points apiece.
Oak Hill (2-2) hosts Liberty Tuesday at the Lilly Center.

Shad Sauvage led the Mavericks with 17 points, while Collin Fox scored 13 and Eli Allen added 10.
Kenyon Johnson-Buckhannon led the Blue Demons with 15 points.
James Monroe will play in the championship game Saturday.

Clear Fork – Westside erased a three-point halftime deficit to defeat visiting Nicholas County 61-58 in overtime Friday.
Ryan Anderson led all scorers for the Renegades with 23 points, including six 3-point baskets. Evan Colucci added 11 for Westside and Hunter Lester scored eight.
Gage Groggs led the Grizzlies with 18 points, while Jaxson Morriston scored 15 and Colby Pishner had 14 points.
Westside (1-3) travels to Independence Tuesday. Nicholas County (0-3) travels to Elkins Saturday.

Jared Vestal led the Panthers with 14 points. Drew Damewood scored 12 and Dylan Blake had 10.
