East Hardy 60, Cameron 50
Charleston – Making its second straight boys state tournament appearance, Class A No. 3 East Hardy knocked off No. 6 Cameron 60-50 Wednesday morning inside the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
The Cougars feasted on 28 turnovers which led yielded 30 points to help slay the Dragons. The Cougars also had 19 steals in the game.
Jordan Teets scored 26 points for East Hardy (20-3) and made five of nine attempts from behind the arc. Evan Hamilton added 16 points and J.W. Teets.
Lance Hartley had 11 points for Cameron (20-6) and Colson Wichterman had nine points, five rebounds and five assists.
East Hardy will play the winner No. 2 Tug Valley and No. 7 Doddridge County Friday at 7:15 p.m.
