Fairmont Senior 61, Hampshire 31
Charleston – Class AAA No. 1 seed Fairmont Senior scored the first 14 points of the game and never looked back, defeating No. 8 seed Hampshire 61-31.
The Polar Bears will play the winner of No. 4 East Fairmont and No. 5 Logan at 7:15 p.m. Thursday in the semifinals.
Zycheus Dobbs scored 28 points to lead Fairmont and was 11-for-12 from the floor. Tre Cumberledge had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
The Polar Bears scored 40 points in the paint and had 25 points off turnovers.
Jensen Fields paced the Trojans with 12 points.
