Charleston – Webster County took 29 more shots than Clay-Battelle Tuesday morning but still managed to make one less field goal, falling 60-52 to the CeeBees in the Class A quarterfinals Tuesday morning at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Webster shot just 26 percent from the field while Clay-Battelle netted 43 percent of its attempts.
Colby Barr led the charge for Clay with 29 points while Preston Luzader netted 17.
Webster was led by Logan Leichliter who scored 15 in the loss.
Clay-Battelle advance to the Class A semis where it will face No. 1 James Monroe.
