Charleston – Scott held off every Herbert Hoover comeback attempt Thursday evening, turning away the Huskies in a 68-62 win in the Class AAA quarterfinals at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
With the win Scott advances to the Class AAA semis where it will face Shady Spring on Friday at 5:30.
Reece Carden led the Skyhawks with 20 points while Kadin Clemins netted 13 and Jayden Sharps 12.
Eli Robertson and Dane Hatfield paced Hoover with 24 and 22 points, respectively.
