Charleston – Top-seeded Williamstown scored the first 11 points of Wednesday’s Class AA quarterfinal, cruising to an 81-40 win over No. 8 Trinity in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
With the win Williamstown advances to the Class AA semis where it will face the winner of Charleston Catholic-South Harrison on Friday afternoon.
Williamstown swarmed on defense, forcing 24 turnovers which led to the 30 points.
Eleven different Yellowjackets scored for Williamstown with Parker Schramm leading the way with 26 points.
Carter Hartsock led Trinity with 14 points in the loss.
