TAZEWELL COUNTY, VA (LOOTPRESS) – Southwest Virginia Community College has issued a campus safety alert following reports of a suspicious vehicle attempting to stop female drivers while falsely identifying as law enforcement.
According to the alert, a silver or dark grey Ford F-150 has been seen in the Claypool Hill area of Tazewell County attempting to pull over women.
Authorities emphasize that the vehicle is not associated with any official law enforcement agency.
Campus safety officials urge the public to remain vigilant and avoid stopping in isolated areas if confronted by a suspicious vehicle.
Anyone who encounters the truck or experiences a similar situation is advised to call 911 immediately and report their location.
