THURMOND, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Access to the town of Thurmond in Fayette County is currently restricted due to a car going over an embankment.
The SUV went over the embankment just before the Thurmond Bridge.
There appear to be no injuries but two passengers were in the vehicle.
A wrecker and the National Park Service are currently on the scene.
The road remains closed at this time.
